Coming up in smaller markets, I didn’t always have an engineer around to fix things when we had problems… so, I learned to do things myself out of necessity. Since the late 90’s, I’ve been the go to person at every stop I’ve been for all things technical from the studios to the transmitter site. Keeping the computers and automation going, building studios, wiring in new gear and even building entire plants… I’ve done it all. The only thing I do not do technically is work on tube type transmitters. I’ll leave that to the ones who know what they’re doing. Everything else, no problem!
