In 1995, I walked in to the Signal Media studios in Little Rock, Arkansas and was introduced to Prophet Systems “Wizard For Windows” automation system.

It was then and there that I decided if I wanted a long career in this business, I had better learn that system inside and out and everything else I could learn about automation systems.

Since then, I have mastered not only that system (and even worked in tech support for Prophet for a short time) but many others including Scott Systems, Wide Orbit, Audiovault, BSI/Simian and Playout ONE.

I’ve always had the philosophy that the automation system should work for us, not the other way around. I find ways to get it to do what I want it to do. Having a programming background, I understand what I need to happen… being computer savvy helps me accomplish that.
